Terms and Conditions – All Four Music School

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between All Four Music School (hereinafter “the School”) and any individual or legal entity enrolling in classes, packages, subscriptions, workshops, courses, or services offered by the School (hereinafter “the Student”).
1. About the School
All Four Music School is a music school specializing in modern instruction in contemporary music.
In particular, the School offers:
private lessons;
course packages;
monthly subscriptions;
group classes;
workshops and master classes;
courses in computer-assisted music and music production;
in-person or online educational services.
2. Registration
By registering, you fully and unconditionally agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Registration becomes effective upon receipt:
the completed registration form;
of the requested regulation;
and, if necessary, any additional required documents.
For students under the age of 18, registration must be completed by a legal guardian.
3. How the courses work
3.1 General Organization
Classes are held according to the terms and conditions specified at the time of registration:
frequency;
duration;
format (in-person or online);
teacher;
selected plan.
The School reserves the right to adjust the program structure or instructors based on educational, logistical, or artistic considerations.
3.2 Punctuality
Any course that has begun is considered due.
The Student agrees to adhere to the scheduled times. In the event of a delay, the class will end at the originally scheduled time.
4. Rates
The applicable rates are those in effect at the time of registration.
Prices are listed in euros.
Since All Four Music School may be eligible for a VAT exemption depending on the specific activity, prices are listed inclusive of VAT where applicable.
The School reserves the right to change its rates at any time for new enrollments.
5. Payment Terms
Payment can be made:
by bank transfer;
by direct debit;
by credit card;
in cash, within the legal limits;
by any other means accepted by the School.
Payment deadlines must be met.
If payment is more than 15 days overdue, the School may:
suspend classes;
refuse any new reservations;
or cancel the registration after providing prior notice.
6. Course Packages
6.1 Definition
Packages consist of a set number of classes purchased in advance at a discounted rate.
They are personal and non-transferable.
6.2 Validity Period
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase:
Packages of 5 lessons are valid for 3 months;
Packages of 10 lessons are valid for 6 months;
The higher-tier packages are valid for 12 months.
Any unused lessons before the expiration date will be forfeited and are non-refundable.
6.3 Reservations and Cancellations
Any cancellation or request to reschedule must be made at least 24 hours before the start of the class.
In the event of a late cancellation or a student’s absence, the class will be considered attended and deducted from the package.
However, the School may exercise flexibility in the event of an exceptional situation that is reported promptly.
7. Monthly subscriptions
7.1 Operation
Subscriptions provide access to a monthly quota of courses or educational services.
Unless otherwise stated:
The subscription is automatically renewed each month;
Course credits not used in a given month cannot be carried over;
Subscriptions are personal and non-transferable.
7.2 Suspension
A temporary suspension may be granted for valid reasons (illness, extended travel, significant personal circumstances) upon written request.
7.3 Termination
The subscription can be canceled at any time with 15 days' notice prior to the next billing date.
Any period that has begun is still due.
8. Absences and Rescheduling
8.1 Student Absence
Any absence must be reported as soon as possible.
Classes canceled less than 24 hours in advance are considered due, except in cases of force majeure or exceptional circumstances as determined by the School.
8.2 Teacher's Absence
If a teacher is absent, the class will be:
be postponed;
be replaced by another speaker;
be credited.
No additional reimbursement may be claimed.
9. Group classes and workshops
Group classes require a minimum number of participants.
The School reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a group class if the necessary conditions for instruction are not met.
Participants must behave respectfully toward other students, teachers, and equipment.
Any inappropriate behavior may result in expulsion without a refund.
10. Workshops, events, and masterclasses
Registration for a course, workshop, or master class is final upon payment.
In the event of cancellation by the Student:
more than 14 days before the event: refund or credit available;
Less than 14 days prior: no refund, except in exceptional cases.
In the event of cancellation by the School, any fees paid will be refunded or credited toward future enrollment.
11. Distance learning
The School shall not be held liable for any technical issues related to the Student’s internet connection, computer hardware, or software.
Students must have the necessary materials to ensure that classes run smoothly.
12. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the Consumer Code, any purchase made remotely is subject to a 14-day legal right of withdrawal.
To exercise this right, the Student must submit a clear request by email or mail before the deadline expires.
If the Student expressly requests that classes begin before the end of the withdrawal period, payment for services already rendered will be due on a pro-rata basis for the services actually provided. (academiedemusique.com)
13. Early Termination and Valid Grounds
In the event of a duly justified valid reason (long-term illness, relocation preventing attendance at classes, force majeure, serious accident, etc.), the School may offer:
a postponement;
a credit;
or a partial refund for services not rendered.
All requests will be considered in good faith to strike a balance between the School’s educational obligations and the Student’s circumstances. (resilier.com)
14. Liability
The School is bound by a best-efforts obligation with respect to its educational services.
Artistic progress depends largely on the student’s personal commitment, consistency, and independent study.
The School shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
15. Right of Publicity
Unless the Student or their legal guardian objects in writing, All Four Music School may use photos, videos, or clips taken during educational activities for promotional purposes.
Such use shall remain reasonable and relevant to the School’s activities.
16. Personal Data
The data collected is used solely for the educational and administrative management of the School.
In accordance with the GDPR, the Student has the right to access, modify, and delete their data.
17. Intellectual Property
The educational materials provided by the School (documents, videos, resources, exercises, arrangements, and digital content) remain the exclusive property of their authors.
Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited.
18. Mediation and Disputes
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution before initiating any legal proceedings.
In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code, the Student may seek the assistance of a consumer mediator free of charge if a written complaint has not received a satisfactory response.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
